Julie Black, LMHC

Julie Black, LMHC, earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and an Advanced Certification in School Counseling at SUNY, Plattsburgh. She is a dedicated therapist who has experience working with individuals, children, adolescents, and families. Through the use of her education and experience, Julie is able to tailor her therapeutic work to focus on the strengths and needs of each client. Through collaboration with Julie, clients develop ways to improve their self confidence, better manage their mental health, and nurture their ability to overcome life’s challenges.

Julie’s professional experience includes working as a Clinical Coordinator for Child Center of New York and as a Preventive Services Case Planner, among others. She counsels through Family Functional Therapy and Brief Strategic Therapy Modalities.
